Why these pages exist:

For 39 years, up until June of 2004, I taught English 9 G/T, American Literature G/T, Advanced Placement English, and other courses in the Santa Barbara High School District. The A.P English class was a dual enrollment course offered by Santa Barbara High School and Santa Barbara City College, where it is English 110 (Fall) and English 111 (Spring).  These pages are provided to help students and others use the Internet as a research tool and to provide key information about my classes. I hope visitors find my Web page useful.
